Friday, April 3.
Today I have an interview with Miryam Schobben for the SarcosCoop (magazine for Sarcoidosis patients) in Bergen aan Zee! On the bike to Bergen aan Zee with the Tomtom. Yet I was a bit disappointed because he's sending me in a way that I was not support to cycle at all.
In fact I cycled form the Ijsselmeer to the zee what should be a distance of a 35 km. The weather was beautiful, although above Alkmaar large dark clouds remained but it stayed dry anyway.
The interview was cosy and I got plenty of good questions that I could answer. A few more photos with the sea in the background and then back home. The time flown. I am grateful for the attention and Miryam Schobben how came specially for me from the other site of Holland to Bergen aan Zee.
The way back was just as special. I came in Heerhugowaard in a part where I've never been. How do I get out of here? Fortunately my sense of direction did not desert me. The Tomtom did because he takes no bicycle routes. Here it’s a drama but in Canada it’s no problem (I hope) because I cycle along the roads on the shoulders.
I cycled with full load today and is was delicious and the km counter indicated me that I had 97 km on the clock. It was fine to do with these conditions.
